I am graduating from North Carolina State University with a Master of Geospatial Science and Technology and a strong foundation in spatial analysis, data management, and geospatial visualization. My academic and professional interests center on applying GIS to real-world problems, particularly those involving infrastructure, environmental systems, and decision support.
I earned my undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in Technology, Engineering, and Design Education and began my career in education, where I have spent more than a decade teaching computer science, engineering, and technology-focused coursework. This experience sharpened my ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, manage projects with diverse stakeholders, and approach problems with a systems-thinking mindset.
Through the MGIST program, I have expanded my technical expertise in GIS, remote sensing, spatial databases, and web-based geospatial applications. I enjoy working at the intersection of data, technology, and people, transforming spatial data into insights that inform planning, operations, and policy. My background in education, combined with advanced geospatial training, allows me to bridge technical analysis with clear communication and practical implementation.
